David Koscuk
Captain
David’s career in emergency services spans 16 years. David’s background includes 911 Telecommunications, Fire Service and both rural and urban EMS. David is a licensed Paramedic and EMS-Instructor. David serves on numerous regional and statewide EMS committees and co-chairs the Region 3 ESF-8 EMS Section. David has been with New Britain EMS for 9 years working as a Paramedic, Shift Lieutenant and Captain.
David currently serves as the Captain of Support Services of New Britain Emergency Medical Services, Inc. In this role David manages Education, Outreach, Quality, Special Operations and Emergency Management activities.

Craig Nolan
Primary Instructor
Craig has been in the emergency services for over twenty five years serving in different capacities. He holds a bachelors and masters’ degree from Central Connecticut State University, has been a certified EMS Instructor for over ten years and is an adjunct professor with the CCSU School of Engineering. With Seventeen years experience with New Britain Emergency Medical Services, he now holds the position of Primary Instructor and teaches classes ranging from Basic First Aid to Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
With background experiences ranging from Volunteer firefighter, Fire Marshal and Wildland Firefighter combined with specialized instructor training certifications in hazardous materials, terrorist bombings and emergency medicine combined with his dynamic teaching style, Craig has been a tremendous asset to the NBEMS training staff.

Jason Nadeau
Primary Instructor
Jason has been in emergency services for about the last ten years. Since that time he has held positions in private security, private EMS, commercial EMS, and volunteer EMS. He holds a degree of Criminology from Central Connecticut State University. For the last six years Jason has been adjunct faculty for numerous EMT programs around the state along with being a CPR instructor through the American Heart Association. Currently Jason holds the position of Primary Instructor and teaches classes ranging from CPR all the way up to Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
With Jason’s experience working in different facets of EMS and his enthusiastic attitude towards the medical profession, he has proven to be a great asset to the NBEMS training staff.

Patrick Turek
Exam Coordinator
Patrick has been involved in emergency services for nearly eight years. He was a graduate of the first NBEMS High Performance EMT Course. Patrick is deeply involved in his clinical care and educational instruction; with a heartfelt passion to share emergency medical services with the community and future clinical providers. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and is currently involved in graduate studies in Public Administration. Patrick instructs CPR, First Aid, EMR and EMT courses.

Patrick Ciardullo
Lieutenant
Patrick has been involved in emergency and public service for 10 years. He is a licensed Paramedic and an EMS-Instructor. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and is enrolled in graduate studies in Public Administration. Patrick has been with New Britain EMS for nearly 8 years serving as an EMT, Field Training Officer, Paramedic, and Shift Lieutenant.
Patrick currently serves as Lieutenant of Support Services where he manages quality oversight, clinical affairs, orientation, and staff development. He also serves as Special Operations Coordinator overseeing standby and specialized medical services citywide. Patrick serves the Training Academy instructing EMT classes, CPR, First Aid, EVOC, and simulation.
